SIEVE ANAYLSIS  

STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURE 

1.  Clean all sieve screens with a brush.  Ensure that all grain from previous analysis is removed

2.  Weigh 100 grams of crushed malt.

a.   Use a freshly crushed bag

b.  Pull sample from centre of bag

3.  Place 100 gram sample in top layer of sieve

4.  Close and tighten sieve

5.  Turn sieve on and let run for 1 minute at 75% power

6  Open sieve and weigh each tray, recording all weights and what tray each sample came from.

7.  Results should be similar to below

8.  If significantly different, contact Will with numbers for advice
