MEET RAY

Ray started out his career in the recycling industry in 2004, with AES Bord Na Móna. Beginning in Transport & Logistics, Ray quickly progressed to Operations Manager.  During his 7 years with AES Bord Na Mona, Ray received extensive training in waste management and business development while running one of their busiest sites.

In May 2011, Ray joined Leinster Environmentals as Operations Manager, initially working to help develop our plastic recycling capabilities. In 2014 Ray was promoted to Leinster Environmentals’ Business Development and Purchasing Manager.  Within this role Ray travels the entire island of Ireland securing raw materials for recycling, building relationships among new and existing suppliers and providing training and advice to companies on how best to extract the maximum value for their materials and meet their sustainability objectives.  As a mark of his efforts, Ray was awarded Employee of the Year at the 2016 Sustainable Ireland Awards.with
